Group Presentation

In jigsaw fashion, the class will put together the Mayan creation story on Wednesday 11/16.

 

Your group is assigned one section of the Popol Vuh to present to the class. After reading the pages (don't worry about reading each footnote), use the cubing technique to think about what you want to teach the class about your section: consider describing, comparing, associating, analyzing, and maybe also applying and arguing. Prepare one closing question to ask the class after your presentation. Don't forget a Works Cited page.

 

You have the option of creating a PowerPoint or Prezi presentation. If using PowerPoint, create at least 10 slides. If using Prezi, create 10 different visuals/zooms.

 

You will be grading other groups with this rubric, as they will yours.
